# Production setup scenarios

Use this chapter when Dynamic Graphics needs to fit into another production system — a software switcher, a hardware switcher, or a network transport. Each page covers one kind of system: which connection to use, whether to turn **Alpha Key** on, and a high-level setup, with links to the reference articles for the exact settings.

If you haven’t decided where Dynamic Graphics fits yet, start with [Choose how Dynamic Graphics fits your production](/set-up-your-production/how-it-fits-your-production.md). These pages tell you **which path to choose**; the [Set up graphics output](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index.md) articles tell you **how to configure it**.

## Software production systems

* [Use Dynamic Graphics with vMix](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-7/use-with-vmix.md) — feed vMix a graphics overlay over the network.

More software-switcher pages (TriCaster, Wirecast, OBS Studio) are on the way; until then, see [Output graphics to a TriCaster](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index/output-graphics-to-tricaster.md) and [Output graphics to OBS Studio](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index/output-graphics-to-obs.md) for those transports.

## Hardware switchers

* [Use Dynamic Graphics with an HDMI switcher](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-7/use-with-an-hdmi-switcher.md) — for switchers that chromakey an HDMI input.
* [Use Dynamic Graphics with ATEM](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-7/use-with-atem.md) — the two ATEM workflows, in both directions.
* [Use Dynamic Graphics with an SDI broadcast switcher](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-7/use-with-an-sdi-broadcast-switcher.md) — key + fill into a production switcher.

## Network and facility transport

For the network transports themselves, see [Output graphics with NDI](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index/output-graphics-with-ndi.md) and [Output graphics with OMT](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index/output-graphics-with-omt.md). System-specific NDI and OMT scenario pages are being added.

## If Dynamic Graphics is producing the final show

If Dynamic Graphics renders the finished production rather than feeding another switcher, you’re sending or capturing a result — streaming, a video call, a virtual webcam, or files. See [Streaming & delivery](/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-6.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://dynamicshelp.broadstream.com/set-up-your-production/chapter-index-7.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
